Settings

Access Settings from the gear icon in the profile dropdown or sidebar. The available sections depend on your role.

Profile

Available to: Everyone

Edit your personal information:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile photo (upload or use initials)
• Change password

Company

Available to: Owner, Manager

Edit company information:

• Company name
• Email and phone
• Address (street, city, state, postal code)
• Logo — Upload a company logo. Appears in the sidebar, invoice headers, and daily log PDFs.
• Accent color — The primary brand color used throughout the app (buttons, active states, navigation highlights). Default is Construxion Pro green (#77bc20).

Alerts

Available to: Everyone

Configure notification preferences:

• Push notifications — Toggle browser push notifications on/off
• If enabled, shows the browser's notification permission status
• Troubleshooting tip if push isn't working (check OS notification settings)

Jobs

Available to: Owner, Manager

Job-related configuration:

• Working days — Which days of the week are working days (default: Monday-Friday). Affects schedule calculations and working-day math.
• Other job defaults

Schedule

Available to: Owner, Manager

Schedule visibility and behavior:

• Schedule visibility mode — Controls when field crews (Superintendent, Foreman, Labor) can see their schedules:
  • Immediate — Changes visible as they're made
  • Midnight — Visible at midnight before the work day
  • Day before — Manager manually finalizes
  • Day of — Manager finalizes morning-of

Billing

Available to: Owner, Manager

Billing configuration:

• Invoice requirements — Define required documents that must be satisfied before an invoice can be marked as "sent" (e.g., lien releases, schedule of values, certified payroll)
  • Add new requirement types
  • Rename or delete existing types
  • These appear as a checklist when marking an invoice as sent

Locates

Available to: Owner, Manager

Locate provider configuration:

• Default locate provider settings
• Locate-related preferences

Permits

Available to: Owner, Manager

Permit configuration:

• Default permit settings
• Permit-related preferences

Traffic Control

Available to: Owner, Manager

• TC Mode — None, In-House, Subcontractor, or Both
• In-House: Create or link a TC division
• Subcontractor: Set default TC subcontractor

Role Permissions

Available to: Owner, Manager (with managePermissions permission)

Configure default permissions for each role:

• Toggle permissions on/off for each role (Manager, Administrative, Superintendent, Foreman, Labor)
• Owner column is disabled — Owners always have all permissions (enforced at every layer)
• Changes here affect all users of that role who don't have per-user overrides

This sets the company role defaults — the second tier in the 3-tier permission system. Per-user overrides (set on individual employee records) take priority.

Subscription
