Subcontractors

Subcontractors are external companies hired to perform specialized work on jobs. Available to Owner, Manager, and Administrative roles.

Subcontractor List Page

Shows all subcontractors with:

• Company name
• Category (type of work)
• Primary contact
• Search and filter

Creating a Subcontractor

1. Click Add Subcontractor on the Subcontractors page
2. Enter:
   • Company name
   • Category — Select from presets or enter a custom category
   • Address, phone, email
   • Contact information
3. Click Create

Categories

Preset categories:

• Traffic Control
• Electrical
• Concrete
• Plumbing
• Excavation
• Landscaping
• Paving
• Fencing
• Other

Select Custom... to enter a free-form category for specialized trades.

Subcontractor Profile

Click a subcontractor to open their profile with tabs:

Details Tab

• Company info and category
• Edit subcontractor details (category dropdown with custom option)

Jobs Tab

• Jobs this subcontractor is assigned to

Contacts Tab

• Contact people at the subcontractor company
• Add, edit, and remove contacts

Subcontractors in Other Features

• Daily Logs: Record which subcontractors were on site each day
• Traffic Control: When TC mode is "subcontractor," a default TC subcontractor can be set in Settings. Subcontractors with category "Traffic Control" show a "(TC)" badge in the TC subcontractor picker.
• Job Details: The TC section on the Details tab shows the assigned TC subcontractor when in subcontractor mode.
